Y3 Remote Learning

 

Welcome to Year 3’s Remote learning page!

Parents will receive their child’s learning via Google classroom. Your child will have their log in details.

We will upload the work that needs to be completed to Google classroom each day by 8am. We will suggest a timetable for the day but please arrange activities to suit your own times at home. It is recommended by the DfE that children spend 4 hours per day on their learning. The lessons and activities that we will set will be the minimum amount of work for your child to complete and we will check the work that they are doing. Where possible, work should be completed on the Google classroom. Please do not think that children need to work from 9am until 3:20pm, the timetable can be arranged to suit the needs of your families.  

The table below shows the work that children will receive for each subject, across the week.

English

(1 hour a day)

Oak Academy

– daily lesson (approx. 30-60mins)

Children can also access Spelling shed to practice their spellings. (approx. 30mins per week)

Children will be able to access MyOn which will allow them to read and quiz on their reading book.

Maths

Reading

(30mins per day)

 Videos Children are encouraged to read for at least 30 minutes a day. Teachers will upload videos of them reading a story to the children every day and will attach questions to the videos.The children are also encouraged to read independently.
