Y6 Remote Learning

Welcome to Year 6’s Remote learning page!

 

Parents will be receiving their child’s learning via Google classroom.  Work will be uploaded daily by 8am onto the Google classroom. We will suggest a timetable for the day but please arrange activities to suit your own times at home. It is recommended by the DfE that children spend 4 hours per day on their learning. The lessons and activities that we will set will be the minimum amount of work for your child to complete and we will check the work that they are doing, where possible work should be completed on the Google classroom. Please do not think that children need to work from 9am until 3:20pm, the timetable can be arranged to suit the needs of your families.

English

1 hour a week (2 week rolling programme).

 Reading (30 mins per day)

Children are encouraged to read for 30 mins a day. 

Videos of teachers reading will be uploaded daily.
