Football update

BLJS Advise (bljsadvice) on: BLJS Advice

Nine cheers for our awesome footballers! Since the tryouts, they have been on a winning streak! They played Rugby free Primary school and are now 2nd on the table. Isaac got his first goal of the season and this was the year six's last game. Jack Raine scored his first goal in his last game.

Such a success!

Stranger awareness (not danger!)

BLJS Advise (bljsadvice) on: BLJS Advice

As most of you will know, last week an event occurred , mainly about Stranger awareness. The old saying, ‘Stranger Danger’ is untrue as not all strangers are dangerous or bad, some may be nice and helpful. For example, if you get lost at a shop, don’t go to a random person, go to either a shop worker or someone that takes care of children. Don’t go off on yourself trying to find your parents or guardian. If someone tries to get hold of you, you can forget all your manners e.g: kick, scream, punch, bite etc to draw attention. If you are walking home by yourself or with someone else, make sure your parents and teacher know that your going home with them.

Remember to tell us how your feeling at the moment!

Well done to the football team for the AMAZING score of 15!

Welcome to BLJS Advice!

BLJS Advise (bljsadvice) on: BLJS Advice

Hello, and welcome to BLJS Advice! We are here to help you, rain or shine, happy or sad. You can contact us via forms on the school website. As there are only six more weeks here at school, we can understand you may have concerns about starting a new school, teacher or making new friends. But that's OK because in the end things will turn out bright! You don't know what will happen in the future so put yourself in a positive mood. As we don't know all students from this school it would be easier for our team if you put your name and class at the end of each post you make. Just remember that not everything is gloom and doom. Send us positive stuff too!
